Dual studios and offices are operated on Peach Street in Summit Township and it was the same place on which the WJET-TV transmitter tower is installed.
Over the air, signals are transmitted from WJET for the coverage area of Erie and near origins which is situated in Chautauqua County and Northern Ohio. WEWS-TV was providing its transmission services in the area of Cleveland from Time Warner Cable which stop providing its WJET transmission on the eastern side of Cleveland.
On April 2, 1966 WJET-TV become the third television station in the region of Erie which was under the ownership of Jet Broadcasting which also owned the WJET radio station. With 24 hours marathon movie with an analog UHF signal on frequency 24. ABC affiliation was carried out after the broadcasting was operational in the market.
