The Sinclair Broadcast Group is the owner of this station and is part of the monopoly of KVCW (channel 33). It is a dual subsidiary of CW and MyNetworkTV. The two TV stations that share their studios in Las Vegas TV Host Lane, KSNV, and KVCW are the only major TV stations operating within the city in Black Mountain near Henderson.

Analog to digital conversion:
It closed the analog signal through VHF frequency 3 on date June 12, 2009, and it is the official date for the US high power television station under federal authorization. Prior to the change, the radio station’s digital signal remained on its VHF frequency 2, using PSIP, the digital TV receiver displays the radio station’s virtual channel as its old VHF 3 analog frequency.
As mentioned above, KSNV transmitted its signal to Digital Channel 21, which was previously used by KVMY on November 1, 2014. KSNV is one of the few minutes associated with using frequency 2 for digital broadcasting.
