KFOR TV started transmitting a digital television signal from 1 June, 1999 on UHF channel 29. It was the first television station in Oklahoma City and the state of Oklahoma after this. NBC channel only transmitted prime time and sports programming. It also provides a limited schedule of local programs which are carried by the main analog signal. On the 12th of June, 2009, KFOR discontinued regular programming on VHF channel 4.
