Features by WGRZ TV Live
During the 1960s, this station used, Earis and Iris named two cartoon elves which were part of its logo. During 1983, to coincide with the change of call letter on WGRZ 2 TV, the future logo contains two lines, which outlined the number two. In 1988, the logo of this station contained only a large number of “2” in the typical Owen Garde font, with a blue-yellow triangle added in the early 1990s.
The NBC logo has seemed to the left of the digit “2”. However, the WGRZ TV station’s on-air brand (which only includes “Channel 2”) does not mention “NBC”. On October 29, 2011, the updated version of the station logo is introduced and determination of the logo was done by the voting of the audience on the station’s website.
